There is a setting in Windows that controls the Mixed Reality applications and will suspend any application that is running if the headset goes to sleep by idling after some amount of time.

To avoid this suspension of the Acadicus application follow the instructions below.

  1. In the Windows search bar, search for "mixed reality portal".
  2. Open the Mixed Reality Portal app that is discovered.
  3. Select the "Headset display" tab on the left side.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom where you will see the setting for "Sleep timeout"
  5. Change the toggle to OFF for the "Suspend Windows Mixed Reality and its apps when my headset is asleep." setting.
